Christmas Bird Count

The annual Clarion Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is citizen science in action.  We join more than 50,000 other observers who participate each year in the all-day census of early-winter bird populations.  SRAS started the Clarion count in 1987.  The results of our efforts are compiled into the longest running database in ornithology, representing over a century of unbroken data on trends of early-winter bird populations across the Americas.
