About Our Chapter
Our Chapter was chartered in 1985.
​
We have been conducting the Clarion Christmas Bird Count since we established it in 1987.
​
Our chapter received the first Conservation Award from the Pennsylvania Society for Ornithology in 2005, for our efforts to protect and sustain the habitat at Piney Tract (Mt. Zion). This is now part of State Gamelands 330, and is recognized as a Global Important Bird Area. We continue to work with the PA Game Commission to maintain this habitat.

Founding member Gary Edwards was awarded the Earl Poole Award by the Pennsylvania Society for Ornithology in 2011 for his contributions to ornithology in Pennsylvania.

To Join
There are two ways to join Seneca Rocks Audubon.
1. Join as a member of our local chapter only using this Local Membership Form.

2. Join the National Audubon Society. If you live in our area, you will automatically become a Seneca Rocks member. Click here to join National Audubon online for $20. In the chapter designation menu, please scroll down to PA Seneca Rocks Audubon (U21).
